It is little secret to Ron Paul supporters, at this time, that the mainstream media has decided that Ron Paul is not the man they want for president.
If you watch any of the mainstream news, or if you have watched the dog and pony show debates, you know this with pretty good certainty.
One could presume the media companies would have a tough time staying in business if they didn’t pander to those who pay their bills.
Namely, I would take a guess and say the advertisers. The big corporations.
So, as it was once noted, it could be said, that is tough for a person to understand something, or, I will add, get behind a movement, when their salary “depends” on them doing, the exact “opposite”.
The media, most likely, is not going to support someone that will damage the pocketbook, or put them in a position that is not comfortable for them personally, nor politically. Some things never change, I’m afraid, but thankfully, voices of reason and principle still exist in this country, and these brave people are stepping up from all walks of life. And this even includes, gratefully, fragments of the mainstream media, and that should give all of us all the more hope. The Ron Paul movement has been called, and dubbed, a revolution. This is absolutely correct. This is why I write today, because of the exceeding importance of the nature of influence, and the need to try to unmask deception when it stands before your eyes. The media is telling you that Ron Paul cannot win, obviously, so you will not cast your ultra precious vote when the time comes. You must think on this, and think on it logically. You must understand that even the smallest actions in life, unnoticed gestures even, can lead to some of the biggest movements and events in history.A very small example of this, is that some people claim that they do not want to “waste” their votes come election time. I find this to be a faulty position, because your vote is never truly wasted, if, you vote for the person you feel is the absolute best candidate.
A vote for Ron Paul, is a vote for your conscious, if and only if, you believe he is the best who stands among the candidates.
Personally, I cannot, in any sense of the word, cast a vote for a Hillary Clinton, or a Mike Huckabee, or a Rudy Guiliani. It would violate my principles and go against the grain of what I stand for and believe in.
Voting for the best of “two evils”, basically cancels itself out as an evil act, if you are to presume that both candidates are crummy and not worthy of the position.
Why?
The reason is easy and simple.
It is because you are casting a vote for someone you obviously do not support.
The best thing you can do in an election, although contrary to popular opinion, is NOT VOTE, if the candidates on the ballot are not to your choosing. It is a silent protest of the highest order. You, in effect, are stating, clearly, that you do not support the other men and women who that were nominated to that national stage.
When less than 50 percent of the people turn out in the land of liberty, to vote for eligible representatives, it sends a clear message that the government is not serving it’s function in the manner prescribed.
If you choose to label this apathy, it is “influenced” apathy, by those who seek to achieve limiting critical thought.
I would posit, that this “apathy”, is not so much a matter of the people being disinterested in the political process, rather, it is more of a function of the politicians not getting the message across, and performing their job in a satisfactory manner.
If you consider that human beings must have some type of a benefit, to be moved in one direction or another, than you can begin to understand why we don’t have more people interested in politics, and elections.
It is because these individuals do not feel that the politicians care about them. These, “people on the fence” think that their voices cannot be heard, or that their vote will not count, because of brainwashing from the mainstream media machine. To be a person of strong character, you must do to choose the right thing in the face of ridicule, or even outright physical harm.
Every human being has the potential for strong character, but it must be unlocked by outside influences, as the human being has little power to do it as a matter of pure free will.
If you have decided that Ron Paul is the best candidate on the stage, and that he will do the largest amount of good for this country, and our country’s character, then do not hesitate to send him money, or cast your vote, when the time comes very soon.
You must look at history in the correct context. If you are a Ron Paul supporter, every dollar you send him, and every action you take to inform others of who he is, unlocks possibilities that you may never, ever be aware of.
You, in effect, are bringing about “revolution” in the absolute sense of the word.
“Influence” is a powerful tool. Your money, or your word of mouth, might just bring about the next male or female Ron Paul in the next few years, or 10 years, or 20 years, or 30 years.
It will bring people closer to libertarian principles. If people don’t know about this man, and what he has to say, people cannot possibly support him. Every single person, no matter who they are, has the potential to benefit from your “influence”, from you, the person reading this article right now.
Do not discount the “influence” you generate when you post a message on a bulletin board, or a blog, or gossip to a family member, or a best friend, or even the girl working at McDonalds.
This is how information has spread, since the beginning of time. And with the internet, we have the power send information at an even faster rate.
Do not fall for the lie the mainstream media is begging you to believe.
Ron Paul is as good as a candidate as the rest. He has more supporters than the media will even begin to hint at. He has more donations from the troops, than any other candidate! If you believe this is the best man for the job, do not hesitate to cast your vote. Worry not, about Iowa, or New Hampshire, as history loves spoiling us fools who think we can predict the future.
Unless you are a prophet, and will bet everything you own on the outcome, I would suggest you reconsider your position if you have been sitting on the fence.
Remember that even the smallest human being holds the power of “influence”, and that you can communicate much more efficiently, and faster, these days, than even the famous Paul Revere.
Cast your vote for Ron Paul, and care nothing what anyone else thinks of it, if you truly think he is the man for the job.
